Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you print on-site?

Yes! You and your guests will receive your photo strips immediately after visiting the photo bus. You have a choice of your guests receiving two 2x6 strips per session or a single 4x6 photo per session. Only 1 type allowed per event.

2. How will I receive the digital files?

You will receive a link via email within 48 hours of your event to an online digital gallery where you can share, download and print your images.

3. Is there a booth attendant?

Every event will include one attendant to ensure your photo booth experience runs smoothly.

4. What is required of my venue to ensure Maybelle runs smoothly?

We ask for a comfortable 10'x20' vehicle-friendly space to park and allow safe travel to and from for your guests. She will also need a standard electrical outlet within 100 feet to operate. If there are no electrical outlets available, then a generator can be provided for an additional fee.

5. Will you provide props?

Maybelle never leaves without her props in tow! We provide a variety of props to ensure the party never stops and the fun keeps going!

6. Is the setup fee included?

The setup fee is included in the package prices. We will arrive 1 hour early to setup for your event.

7. Is there a travel fee?

We LOVE to travel but there is a travel fee outside of a 40 mile radius from Cypress, TX. Please let us know where your event is and we will happily provide a custom quote.

8. Does Maybelle drive?

Yes she does! However, we tow her to all events to limit wear and tear on her body and motor to ensure she ALWAYS gets to your events safe and sound!

9. What year is Maybelle?

She was born in 1967 and spent most of her life on the beaches of San Diego. She is a Cali girl at heart and has been featured in Bose and Lululemon commercials.

10. Are there any additional fees?

Outside of a possible travel fee, sales tax will be added to every booking.

11. Where can the photo booth be set up at?

The photo booth can be set up inside or outside the bus - YOUR CHOICE! Inside the bus features a greenery wall backdrop and allows up to 5 people per session. Outside the bus will feature Maybelle as the backdrop and is perfect for events with larger groups. If setup outside the bus, she will need a larger space to operate. Only 1 type allowed per event.

12. Do you offer photography?

Mary Beth, owner, is a photographer and can also provide photography services for your wedding or event. There is a discount when booking both Mary Beth Photography and Maybelle Photo Bus.

13. Do you offer mobile sharing on site?

As long as there is a strong wifi connection, mobile sharing will be available via a QR code that guests can scan after their session. Gifs and/or digital prints can be shared using the QR code.

14. Can you add on additional time?

Yes!

 

For the Photo Bus, active hours can be added on for $200/hour and idle hours can be added for $100/hour.

 

For the Solo Photo Booth, active hours can be added on for $150/hour and idle hours can be added for $75/hour.

Active hours are when the photo booth is setup and operating. Idle hours are where the photo booth is set up but not operating. Like if you need the photo booth set up early for your event or if you want to close the photo booth down for an hour during dinner, etc.
